Today we have been absolutely everywhere. We were sick of emailing and getting no reply so we thought we would take a day trip to all the agencies we could in one day.

Although we thought this was a good idea at first we were wrong, everywhere we went they just gave us more email addresses. However we got to see what each agency looks like inside which is always exciting. Just emailed everyone now. Hope i get a reply this time.Fingers crossed.

New york

New York, New york so good they named it twice!

One word : AMAZING! Not only were the sights immense but the agencies were on par also. Wish we were there longer, however we came we saw and we conquered! well not exactly but we did achieve a lot in 2 and a half days. So what's different from here to New York advertising?
Well everything...to portfolios, interviews, the way they work, buildings, ( i guess what the say is true that everything is larger in America) accents (although sexy ha!) and most of all humor!
So we got to visit Mccann Erickson and DDB and much more people involved in advertising than what we do over here so it was a much better experience. One thing we did learn over there was that, the are so much more helpful and delightful to work with. It seems as though everyone is on your side and they all help, whereas in London what do you get? not much! (we do love London though as much as it seems we don't!)
One thing difficult about working in New York however is the humor used, us brits have a very different style and would be hard to equip ourselves over there!
One plus, is the fact that it takes graduates just a mere month to find a job in a top agency....if thats not a plus then i don't know what is?!

Peace out!
